| Work experience in the Housing Maintenance team as an electrician within the DLO. Ability to drive is essential. Working alongside trade operatives assisting with daily duties. Basic H&S knowledge. Ability to follow instructions. | |
| Duties/Responsibilities | |
| Assisting trade operatives in daily maintenance tasks, primarily electricians but also across other trades such as joinery and plumbing. | |
| Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities | |
| Basic understanding of literacy and numeracy. Able to physically undertake tasks e.g. lifting heavy objects (with appropriate training) of a practical nature on a reasonably continuous basis. Basic relevant Health & Safety awareness. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and with exposure to other disagreeable conditions e.g. dirt, noise. Must hold a full driving license. Ability to communicate with customers | |
