Summary of Work Start Scheme Placement Opportunity
We are a growing café and bar, passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building a supportive, team-driven work environment. As we expand, we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, and we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and develop your career within a friendly and supportive team.   Position Overview As a Front of House Bar & Café Assistant, you will be an essential part of our team, helping to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will work directly with customers, handle a variety of tasks within the café and bar, and support the team in keeping the space clean, organized, and inviting.      
Duties/Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure customers have an enjoyable experience.
Using a Till: Accurately process customer payments and handle cash or card transactions.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the café and bar are clean, tidy, and well-organized, including clearing tables and general housekeeping duties.
Deep Cleaning in Kitchen: Support the team by assisting with deep cleaning tasks in the kitchen to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Glass Collecting: Collect used glasses and clear them from tables to keep the environment tidy.
Completing Paperwork: Assist with completing required paperwork (training will be provided).
Training and Support: Full Training & Induction: We provide comprehensive training, including how to use the till and carry out various tasks.
Ongoing Support: Our Director is dedicated to supporting the well-being and growth of all staff members. You’ll have access to support and guidance throughout your role.
Teamwork: Teamwork is at the heart of what we do. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute, share ideas, and support one another to ensure the café and bar run smoothly.
