| As a site labourer / general operative you will have a vital role in supporting the site’s team and carrying out a wide variety of duties such as helping setup site handling and materials and ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained on the site. | |
| Duties/Responsibilities | |
| Helping to load and unload plant materials safely on vans and set up site on arrival. Setting up plant and equipment hand grinders floor scrablers mixers etc Have a high regard for health and safety environmental consideration at all times and stages of the project Checking material orders against delivering notes and reporting any defects of problems Mixing and decanting of material for the site team care and save keeping of company equipment tools, hire equipment, vehicles and so on. Following instruction from methods statements risk assessments and site supervisor. Maintaining high levels of communication on-site and with management Ensuring PPE is worn at all times. Represent the company by ensuring a professional approach at all times and to be courteous towards clients colleagues and other traders on site. Keep working area clean tidy and free from risks to the team and others. Cleaning and maintenance of tools, plant and equipment. Cleaning site and leaving sight clean and tidy. Assisting in the documentation of daily site records taking photographs etc Keeping company vehicles clean and tidy and stocked ready for the next working week. Participating any company training and toolbox tasks as required | |
| Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities | |
| CSCS and driving is very preferable, as otherwise we will really struggle with getting them on site. Should be trustworthy | |
