Ruth Lee Ltd are market leaders in the manufacture of training manikins. With an international reputation and 30 years’ experience in the development of training equipment, we supply our range of manikins and related products to customers including the Fire and Rescue Service, the Military and various Search and Rescue Teams.
Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit an additional manikin assembly worker to their team. Training will be given.
Duties/Responsibilities
You will be part of a team manufacturing heavy duty manikins and training products. The following is a summary of the work expectations once trained:
The preparation and final assembly of training manikins
Produce quality work within agreed timescale
Ensure the health & safety of all staff by adhering to H&S regulations and attending safety group meetings, if required
Work with the Operations Director to ensure the business complies with all relevant regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities
Ability to work within a team and prioritise individual workload
Be flexible enough to be trained for and work on the various production tasks and role responsibilities
Energy, drive and determination to contribute to the ongoing success of the team
Manual dexterity and sound practical skills
Ensure accuracy of assembly and customer order preparation
Accurate completion of documentation requirements
Work with the existing Assembly team to deliver the production plan and targeted output
Support and work with Factory Supervisor, Dispatch Manager and Operations Director to achieve the production requirements
Ensure ISO quality standard is maintained throughout production

Periods of time standing up during the assembly process
Periods of time sitting down during the assembly process
Moving and handling of multiple components of various weights
Assembling, moving and handling weighted manikins
