Summary of Work Start Scheme Placement Opportunity
Use your loaf is a community bakery that provides community focused training including courses that teach people to bake handmade, artisan breads while gaining qualifications and work experience.
 
Also holds community events for anyone to try baking exciting products.
 
Duties/Responsibilities
To support the head baker in setting up workshops and sessions including getting ingredients and equipment ready.
 
To support the head baker in any relevant tasks, related to baking or preparation for guests.
 
Support with stock management, stock rotation, labelling items correctly.
 
To support any guests on a session or course to complete their bakes.
 
To help clear down and clean the bakery to a high standard.
 
 
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities
An interest and knowledge in baking bread and bakery items.
To be able to support guests of from all different backgrounds during the workshop.
To work to a high standard of kitchen hygiene- (level 2)
Able and willing to complete training associated with the role.
